A meeting of leaders of Quadrilateral Security Dialogue or Quad, was held virtually on 3rd March 2022. Leaders of India, Australia, Japan and the US met online to present a united front in the backdrop of crisis in Ukraine.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi participated in the first in-person Quad Leaders’ Summit in Washington D.C., USA on 24 September 2021, along with Prime Minister Scott Morrison of Australia, Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga of Japan, and President Joseph Biden of the United States of America. The Leaders had a very useful exchange of views which reinforced the shared interests, values and underlying principles in which the Quad framework was anchored.
